Ray Dream Studio 5.0.2 is a maintenance release of Ray Dream Studio that fixes many major and minor bugs. Some improvements/fixes include:

* Better Mac SMP support. 
* More robust Boolean operations
* VRML bug fixes
* General system stability
* Other bug fixes

No new features have been added in 5.0.2.
NOTE: This updater requires an installed version of Ray Dream Studio 5.0. Earlier versions of the product CANNOT be updated using this program.

To update your software:

1. Make copies of any third party extensions that are not included in the Ray Dream Studio CD. This is important since these extensions will be erased by step 2, and the updater will NOT include or update these extensions. For instance, Zenstar's SuperMesh and Rayflect's The Four Elements are included on the CD so you do NOT have to make copies of it, since the updater will correctly update these extensions.

2. Make a clean install of Ray Dream Studio 5.0 from your CD.

3. Launch the updater and select the installed version of Ray Dream Studio 5.0 you wish to update. NOTE: If you did not install Supermesh and Four Elements, you may receive several warnings during the update, stating that certain files do not exist. It is safe to click OK when these warnings appear, since these files do not exist and therefore should not be updated.

4. Copy the extensions from step one back into your Extensions directory.
